Back to your space
I’m not abandoned by God.
A lonely moment does not mean I have been forgotten.
What this means for me
Hebrews places God’s promise of presence alongside contentment and freedom from the love of money. Security is not ultimately built on what I own or how impressive my life looks. God’s faithfulness offers a deeper place to stand.
This does not mean I should stop needing people. Loneliness deserves care, and reaching for safe human connection can be part of receiving that care. I can pray honestly and also ask someone trustworthy to spend time with me.
A little truth to hold onto
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”— Hebrews 13:5 · KJVRead in context ↗
