Back to your space
I’m not powerless in my struggle.
I can seek help and a way out instead of deciding that giving in is inevitable.
What this means for me
Paul reminds believers that temptation is common and that God is faithful. This passage concerns temptation; it should not be used to claim that trauma or every life burden is always manageable alone. A struggle does not make me uniquely broken or beyond help.
A way out may involve leaving a situation, changing a boundary, putting a device away, or involving a safe adult. I can take practical steps before the pressure gets stronger. If I stumble, I can return to honesty and support rather than hiding in shame.
A little truth to hold onto
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”— 1 Corinthians 10:13 · KJVRead in context ↗
