Back to your space
I’m God’s workmanship.
My life is more than a score, a mirror, or somebody else’s approval.
What this means for me
Ephesians describes believers as God’s workmanship, created in Christ for good works. That means my purpose is not to perform perfectly enough to earn God’s care. The good I do grows out of grace, rather than becoming a test of whether I deserve to exist.
My gifts may not look like someone else’s. Listening, learning, creating, helping, and showing kindness can all be meaningful. Even on a day when I accomplish very little, I don’t have to reduce my whole life to how productive or impressive I was.
A little truth to hold onto
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”— Ephesians 2:10 · KJVRead in context ↗
